Oh how I love Pottery Barn!! My new catalog came in yesterday and I was SO excited to sit down and look at all the new items they have to offer the world! I absolutely love the look of Pottery Barn but rarely buy from them.. why? Because the majority of their stuff can be replicated, that is if you have that crafty desire to do so.

Pottery Barn brings me LOTS of inspiration and gives me great DIY ideas. There is so much inspiration in this catalog I didn’t even know where to begin, but I know I absolutely love these candle jars….

They are perfect for a candle lit dinner on the beach, a romantic dinner on the patio or even a backyard barbecue.

They are $7.50 at Pottery Barn but if you want to make a replica you can for cheap.

All you would need is glass jars, sand, candles and hanging wire or thread if desired.

Try a thrift shop for the jars or even your local grocery store or dollar store. Sand you can get at any home improvement store and even Walmart.

As for the candles you can use whatever kind you would like. A good place to get cheap candles for projects like this would be the dollar store or Walmart.

If you want to hang these as shown at Pottery Barn, you can use hanging wire like they used or you can also use a thick hemp twine.

There will be plenty more Pottery Barn replica explanations here at CaylasCorner over the next several weeks!!

Have you done any DIY projects to replicate something you saw at Pottery Barn?
